Dinner at Adair Country Inn & Restaurant

"Your Celebration is our Specialty"

Our intimate dining room with fireplace and wonderful views of the outdoors offers a relaxing ambiance in a casual elegant atmosphere. Many birthdays and anniversaries have been celebrated at Adair Country Inn & Restaurant and the uncompromising attention to detail with highly personalized, warm service makes every celebration special.

Dinner reservations start at 5:30pm, Thursday through Monday.

Our guests decide upon to number of courses they would like for dinner

to create your own menu for a light or a more elaborate dining experience.

We offer the option to create two-, three- and four course dinners and even a five course dinner. The menu is diverse, our food exciting and the atmosphere is everything you have come to expect at Adair.

The dinner menu is complimented by a carefully selected wine list, fine selection of beers and a wide variety of cocktails and seasonal specialties.

All major Credit Cards are accepted.

Head Chef, Orlo Coots serves up seasonal selections that include the freshest ingredients – from naturally-grown vegetables to market fresh seafood, free-range poultry and the finest beef steaks.

Orlo joined the Adair "family" in April 2010 and brings over 25 years of experience to Adair Country Inn & Restaurant. His passion for food comes through with every plate. His style is to stay true to the ingredients and not over flavor the foods. While his cuisine has a main focus of New England foods and local flavors, Orlo does venture towards all ethnic cuisines, staying true to the heritage and flavors of those foods.

Orlo takes pride in churning his own ice cream and smoking his own meats. Orlo has been featured as a chef in the Boston Globe, Arrington's Inn Traveler magazine and has been featured on TV Diner's "Cooking with Costa" segment on NECN-TV.

Looking forward to welcoming you this Summer or Fall.

Breakfast at Adair
Our gourmet breakfast includes a buffet of home baked granola, yogurt, bananas, a variety of fruit juices, milk, water, and freshly brewed coffee. As you enjoy your morning coffee the first course of fresh fruit and piping hot popovers is served. Just when you're thinking nothing could top the beautiful presentation of fruit and light airiness of our enormous popovers, out comes the entrée. Fresh eggs, maple sausage, apple cider cured bacon and pure New Hampshire maple syrup as well as our own herbs grown at Adair are but a
few of the breakfast ingredients. Morning culinary skills are in evidence from 8:30 to 9:15am daily.

Afternoon Tea
Afternoon tea is served daily at 4 o'clock in Adair's spacious and comfortable living room. We serve Portsmouth Teas - freshly blended herbs and make your own tea bags accompanied by scratch-baked sweet goodies.

Have you tried Granny Hunnington's Sugar & Spice Cookies, our famous Brownies for Thin People only, Grandma Barnes's Cinnamon Flats, or our Midnight Dreams? These are a few of our delicious tea treats.
